Malachite bead necklace with sterling silver clasp. A necklace inspired by a portrait of Charlotte Perriand wearing a chunky bead necklace. Charlotte is an inspiring figure for me and the piece is made to honor her. Malachite is one of my favorite stones, used as a protective amulet since ancient times. The green colour is associated with the heart chakra. These particular bead have mesmerizing black striations.
